His widow stayed until 2007, after which the house became a museum, and it's a very special experience to step inside. The house is completely untouched with the original furniture and color scheme on the walls and doors, and it's like walking into a time warp. The grounds used to be an orchard and some of the old fruit trees still stand in the lush garden behind the house. Of course, we'll also take a walk in the garden. Visit the small exhibition "Earth is life" in Fjelstedgården's stable (farm no. 6) and follow the earth trail around the village. Both will help you learn more about the earth and our relationship with it in both history and the present.
