Jean-Louis Courtinat "Comment être un humain" est une exposition rétrospective de grande envergure présentant l’un des photographes français les plus éminents du documentaire social au public estonien dans le cadre du bicentenaire de la photographie à l’automne 2026 au Centre Photographique Documentaire Juhan Kuus. Pendant plus de quarante ans, Courtinat a documenté la vie des patients d’hôpitaux, des ouvriers d’usine, des réfugiés, des prisonniers et d’autres communautés marginalisées avec une humanité exceptionnelle et une rigueur visuelle. Son travail, ancré dans la compassion et l’engagement à long terme, illustre le cœur éthique de la photographie documentaire et sert de rappel puissant de la responsabilité sociale de la photographie.
